What did the US do to help residents evacuate before Katrina hit?
*What more could the US have done to prevent deaths and to help survivors? In what ways in the US responsible and how did they fail to respond?
I look forward to continuing my research about how the US neglected it's own citizens. I am curious to learn about the strength of the levies and possible conspiracy theories. Ultimately, I must learn more about the government's evacuation procedures while knowing that the storm would soon hit. I must learn what steps were taken to rescue survivors and the reasons behind the delayed response.
